Don't rely on TV to tell you how to lose weight...

As I got home back to the family last night, I caught one of those "diet" programmes (10 year old was already watching it)...

All these totally different plans; ready made meals, shakes, juices, no carbs...

If you are doing one already and you feel like it fits, like it was made for you, you could do it easily for the long term, then this is the only reason to stick with it...

But when all had been said and done, the different subjects had tried different ones, measuring how much weight they lost and how much it cost them per Lb a terrible and misleading way of testing IMHO...

The presenter announced in closing "remember the best way is to have a balance diet and be more active"...

If only he said that at the beginning, everyone could have spent 59.5 minutes doing something else!...

These things have a ending after a few weeks - what happens then?...

And if quick weight loss insures it's a recipe for gaining it back and more, again which is fine if the goal is to lose for a one time event, then fair enough...

But what if you want to be in control for the long term? Be able to wear the clothes you want to wear long term not short term? Be proud of holiday pictures? Your healthy lifestyle could mean you could even be around to see your great grandchildren!...

But it won't come from anything "faddy" ,balanced, blood sugar stabilising and doing the right exercise for the right people is here to stay...

The right exercise is always overlooked- preserving muscle...

The muscle that you have now is the stuff that keeps your metabolism stay at the big number it is, the higher the number the harder it is to over consume...

But to keep it, which is hard if you are trying to lose by even doing it the right way, you have to use it...

And use it in a way that also caters for the fact a Mums body has gone through the strains of pregnancy and or a Busy Professional sitting in cars on school runs and other journeys and possibly hunched over a computer...

Or if you just need a system to follow on your own to go that bit further then there's the 12 week programme, again let me know if you need more info...

It's time to get the results you want.

You can do this.
